Introduction
The Digital Money Forum is now in its thirteenth year, and once again promises the combination of discussion and debate, learning and fun, that has earned it the reputation as the place to be for people interested in the future of retail electronic payments. It continues to be a unique event, where interaction and invention replace product announcements and “death by Powerpoint” sales pitches. This year we are again moving the agenda forwards again to look at some of the future of electronic payments and their impact on society. The Forum is a not-for-profit event that supports a variety of charities. This year we are supporting
BUFFER (which provides specialist diagnostic equipment for breast cancer),
Jubilee Action,
Action Medical Research and
The Prostate Cancer Charity.
The 13th annual Consult Hyperion
Digital Money Forum
will be held in London on 10th-11th March 2010. The Forum will
be sponsored by Visa Europe with support from ACI Worldwide and
Olswang
with the Consultative
Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) as Content Partner.
- Visa Europe is the leading European payment system, owned
and governed by its 4,600 European member banks.
- ACI Worldwide is a global provider of electronic payments
solutions for the world's top financial institutions, retailers
and payment processors. Customers rely on ACI software and services
to deliver reliable, scalable and secure payment services every
second, every day.
- CGAP is an independent policy and research center dedicated
to advancing financial access for the world's poor. It is
supported by over 30 development agencies and private
foundations who share a common mission to alleviate poverty.
Housed at the World Bank, CGAP helps governments, microfinance
providers, donors, and investors. The CGAP Technology Program is co-funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
All delegates will receive a complimentary copy of Thomas Levenson’s Newton and the Counterfeiter as well The Digital Money Reader 2010.
Beyond the annual London event, the digital money debate continues on the associated Digital Money Blog at
www.digitalmoneyforum.com/blog, chosen by American Banker as one of their eight Blog Watch sources and the source of the very popular Digital Money Blook.
As always, the Forum is limited to 100 places, so register now using our
